If you listen to the ripple from a couple days before there is alot of chatter (and I know ripple is a sing along). Maybe this was getting to him over a period of days.

The Ripple video is interesting.

This, after all, a bar. I get it, people paid to see Bob, regardless of what material he chooses to present. However, if this happens to be a Friday or Saturday "night out", some folks may arrive....ready to party. Then Bob throws a musical wet blanket on their evening of fun with a never-ending Hard Rain's Gonna Fall and the crowd loses focus. It's an everyone problem.

Audiences should stfu in respect for the artist and fellow patrons. By the same token, Bob should respect the audience and give them some cowboy tunes if that's where the crowd's energy is leading. Maybe it's embarrassing for Bob to have to switch gears from acoustic to electric before he had planned to do so, but being ready for anything is very GD'esque. Don't get hung-up man, adapt and conquer the audience.

Message to the audience: Don't be a yappy douche.
Message to Bob: Don't be such a diva.

Seeing these Sweetwater videos (saw the walk-off during the Dylan tune one before it was pulled) makes me think if there's a geezer in this equation it's probably Sir Bob.
